Independence Day will be here before you know it, and it’s never too early to start thinking of some outfit ideas for whatever you’ve got planned.
I love planning outfits, so I found some great pieces that you could easily already have in your closet and incorporate into your outfit. If you’re looking for something new, I’ve linked to a ton of different pieces from a few of my favorite stores to help you out.
Barbeque
You’ll want to be comfortable but still put-together, and comfortable navy shorts paired with a navy and white striped top will help you keep your cool throughout the day (and makes for a great outfit on the preppy side if that’s your style, like it tends to be mine). Instead of a white belt, throw on a red belt (or switch out the top for something red) to complete your patriotic look. Check out the full blog post on this outfit here.
Dressed Up for Dinner
If you’re going to a party or nice dinner, a breezy chambray dress could be your best bet. Check out the full blog post on this look here.

Fireworks with the Fam
If you need something casual and you’re not one to try too hard for the Fourth, a simple navy and white striped top and denim shorts are a good pick. Wearing a red bandana as a headband would add just the right touch of red. Check out all the details on this outfit here.

Bonfire with Friends
If you have a relaxed night plan, a simple outfit will do. A white tank top, denim shorts and a navy and red flannel to keep the night chill away could be your go-to option. More details on this outfit here.

Hitting Up the Bar
A tube top or tank top paired with shorts or jeans are usually my go-to for going out during warmer months. As you can see, I tend to flock to navy-colored everything. Find this tube top here.
